Prvn\u00ed doklad o znalosti medu je v\u00edce ne\u017e 15 tis\u00edc let star\u00fd. Sta\u0159\u00ed \u0158ekov\u00e9 uct\u00edvali med jako pokrm boh\u016f a ob\u011btovali ho p\u0159i sv\u00fdch n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00fdch ob\u0159adech. Med byl d\u00e1v\u00e1n jako cenn\u00fd dar tak\u00e9 do hrobek fara\u00f3n\u016f, dokonce se j\u00edm tak\u00e9 mumifikovalo.<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jak med vznik\u00e1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Med vznik\u00e1 \u010dinnost\u00ed v\u010del \u2013 bu\u010f sn\u016f\u0161kou <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips103'>kv\u011btn\u00edho nektaru<\/span> (kv\u011btov\u00fd med), nebo sn\u016f\u0161kou <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips257'>medovice<\/span> (lesn\u00ed med). Kv\u011btn\u00ed nektar je sladk\u00e1 \u0161\u0165\u00e1va obsa\u017een\u00e1 v kv\u011btech. <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips257'>medovice<\/span> je sladk\u00e1 lepkav\u00e1 tekutina, kterou sb\u00edraj\u00ed v\u010dely na jehli\u010d\u00ed, listech a v\u011bt\u00e9vk\u00e1ch lesn\u00edch rostlin. Nepoch\u00e1z\u00ed ale z t\u011bchto rostlin \u2013 vylu\u010duj\u00ed ji r\u016fzn\u00e9 druhy m\u0161ic, kter\u00e9 na lesn\u00edch rostlin\u00e1ch parazituj\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Co med obsahuje a jak p\u016fsob\u00ed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oproti cukru med obsahuje krom\u011b cukr\u016f gluk\u00f3zy a frukt\u00f3zy tak\u00e9 miner\u00e1ln\u00ed l\u00e1tky\u00a0(med obsahuje nap\u0159\u00edklad fosfor (P), v\u00e1pn\u00edk (Ca), ho\u0159\u010d\u00edk (Mg) a zinek (Zn), vitaminy B skupiny a <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips280'>enzymy<\/span>. V medu je obsa\u017een\u00e1 hlavn\u011b amyl\u00e1za, <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips280'>enzym<\/span>, kter\u00fd poch\u00e1z\u00ed z tr\u00e1vic\u00edho syst\u00e9mu v\u010del a kter\u00fd pom\u00e1h\u00e1 tr\u00e1vit \u0161kroby. Proto med m\u00edrn\u011b pom\u00e1h\u00e1 k lep\u0161\u00edmu tr\u00e1ven\u00ed \u0161krobov\u00fdch j\u00eddel \u2013 nap\u0159\u00edklad pe\u010diva, brambor, r\u00fd\u017ee a podobn\u011b. Pokud ale projde med tepelnou \u00fapravou (teplotou asi nad 42 oC), <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips280'>enzymy<\/span> v n\u011bm obsa\u017een\u00e9 se zni\u010d\u00ed. Tak\u017ee pokud si d\u00e1te hork\u00fd \u010daj s medem, pijete vlastn\u011b jen sladk\u00fd \u010daj. Med by se m\u011bl spr\u00e1vn\u011b do \u010daje p\u0159idat a\u017e t\u011bsn\u011b p\u0159ed vypit\u00edm.<\/p>\n<p>Proto\u017ee med obsahuje tr\u00e1vic\u00ed <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips280'>enzymy<\/span> a tak\u00e9 vysok\u00fd pod\u00edl jednoduch\u00fdch cukr\u016f,\u00a0je dob\u0159e straviteln\u00fd. Je v\u00fdborn\u00fdm zdrojem rychle dostupn\u00e9 energie pro svaly a mozek, doporu\u010duje se nap\u0159\u00edklad k obnoven\u00ed energetick\u00fdch rezerv po sportu nebo p\u0159i u\u010den\u00ed. Pro sv\u00e9 <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips30'>antibakteri\u00e1ln\u00ed \u00fa\u010dinky<\/span> pom\u00e1h\u00e1 med chr\u00e1nit st\u011bnu \u017ealudku a st\u0159eva a pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 se jako podp\u016frn\u00fd prost\u0159edek p\u0159i l\u00e9\u010db\u011b nachlazen\u00ed. D\u00edky schopnosti v\u00e1zat vodu m\u00e1 zase m\u00edrn\u00fd proj\u00edmav\u00fd \u00fa\u010dinek (pom\u00e1h\u00e1 proti z\u00e1cp\u011b).<\/p>\n<p>Pro <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips248'>diabetiky<\/span> med p\u0159edstavuje podobn\u00e9 riziko jako cukr. Stejn\u011b tak pro ty, kte\u0159\u00ed pot\u0159ebuj\u00ed sn\u00ed\u017eit hmotnost, je med jen o m\u00e1lo vhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e cukr (energetick\u00fd obsah medu je o n\u011bco ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e cukru \u2013 100 g medu m\u00e1 1350 kJ, zat\u00edmco stejn\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed cukru m\u00e1 1668 kJ). Med by tak\u00e9 nem\u011bli j\u00edst lid\u00e9, kte\u0159\u00ed jsou alergi\u010dt\u00ed na pyly, proto\u017ee med obsahuje zbytky t\u011bch pyl\u016f, z jejich\u017e rostlin v\u010dely sb\u00edraly nektar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Med v kuchyni<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Med se p\u0159id\u00e1v\u00e1 do mnoha tradi\u010dn\u00edch sladkost\u00ed \u2013 do pern\u00edku, medov\u00fdch kol\u00e1\u010dk\u016f, medovn\u00edk\u016f, r\u016fzn\u00fdch su\u0161enek. Krom\u011b charakteristick\u00e9 chuti dod\u00e1v\u00e1 med pe\u010divu tak\u00e9 vl\u00e1\u010dnost a lep\u0161\u00ed tv\u00e1rnost. Z medu se vyr\u00e1b\u00ed i tradi\u010dn\u00ed alkoholick\u00fd n\u00e1poj medovina.
